Zigge gör kontinuerligt porträtt på tingsrättens notarier. Lagman Mikael Mellqvist, initiativtagare och tillika författare skymtar fram på… en del bilder. Själv porträtterad på baksidan av boken.

Söndagen 12 oktober hade Tingsrätten i Visby öppet hus. Det är ju inte alla förunnat att få komma hit och njuta av den konst som lagmannen Mikael Mellqvist under åren förvärvat från öns konstnärer. Han har också skrivit en bok om konsten på Tingsrätten. Där undertecknad är representerad med några porträtt av de notarier som jobbat i huset. Mellqvist har förutom sitt lite kontroversiella sätt att tänka kring Tingsrättens framtoning även fungerat som en slags modern mecenat för öns konstnärer. Detta föranledde mig att föreslå honom som “Årets Gotlänning” men glömde skicka in blanketten… till min och hans förtret….
